On the evening of July 26, towards the 79th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), the Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union solemnly organized a Candlelight Tribute Ceremony for heroic martyrs at Ninh Thuan Martyrs' Cemetery (Xuan Hai commune). The event took place in an exceptionally solemn and moving atmosphere, attended by leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, departments, local authorities, and numerous residents from the southern region of the province. This is an annual activity of deep humanistic significance, expressing sincere gratitude to the outstanding individuals who laid down their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

At the ceremony, delegates alongside more than four hundred officers, soldiers, youth union members, children, Buddhist monks, nuns, and martyrs' relatives respectfully observed a minute of silence to commemorate the immense contributions of the heroic martyrs. Following the sacred memorial ritual, tribute candles, incense, and fresh wreaths were offered at the memorial monument, the stela house, and lit across more than 1,180 graves of martyrs resting here. The flickering candlelight in the night not only dispelled the chill of the cemetery but also illuminated pride and boundless gratitude from today's generation for the noble sacrifices of previous generations.

The Candlelight Tribute Ceremony is not only an occasion to recall a heroic past but also a practical lesson in educating revolutionary traditions and the moral principle of "When drinking water, remember its source" for the younger generation. Watching the candles glow brightly across the cemetery grounds, every youth union member felt a clearer responsibility toward protecting and building their homeland. This activity fosters determination and encourages the youth of Khanh Hoa to continuously study, train, excel in labor, and dedicate their youthful energy to building an increasingly prosperous and civilized homeland, worthy of the heroic sacrifices of past generations.
